CORVALLIS, Ore. (KMTR) - A new official entrance to Oregon State University will be installed in time for those attending fall football games.

The alumni class of 1960 gave OSU $100,000 dollars to help build a new sign across from Reser Stadium. Christi Kasten, an employee of the OSU Alumni Association, told NewsSource 16 she hopes the new sign will represent the class in the fact that it will welcome graduating students year after year.

"We like to see people come back," she said.

The intersection receiving the new sign is Southwest Western Boulevard and Southwest 26th Street.

In the same area, new cross walks and traffic lights will be installed so that the intersection becomes a bit safer.
