House fire death ruled a homicide

LCSO has arrested a Springfield man accused of killing a Eugene man and starting a fire to cover it up.

@Pragmatist: Felony murder is a crime in which another person dies because ANOTHER felony, like rape, arson, or burglary. It's a fine legal description, which sets this kind of murder apart from other kinds of murder.

He was charged with FELONY murder? Good thing they didn't just slap him on the wrist with a misdemeanor murder.
