EUGENE, Ore. (KMTR) -- Local Fred Meyer stores are busy helping Thanksgiving shoppers Wednesday and Thursday plus getting ready for one of their biggest events of the year.
Staff will focus on food today and tomorrow but when the doors open at 5 AM Friday, it's all about socks. Customers line up around the store before it opens for the annual sock sale.
Sale socks are already on display for 25% off the regular price and they'll be marked down to 50% off Friday. Fred Meyer representatives say throughout the entire company over two million pairs of socks are sold on Black Friday.
