CORVALLIS, Ore. (KMTR) - A Corvallis salon is in need of a little facelift after police say a woman broke in and caused thousands of dollars in damage, then was found naked in a back room closet.

The owner of Rage Salon got a call early Tuesday morning from police, telling her a woman had broken into her business. Corvallis Police say 44-year-old Jelena Monique Taylor of Corvallis broke the front door window and unlocked the door, cutting herself while entering. The owner says there was blood all over the furniture, walls and equipment. In addition, equipment was broken and personal items were crushed. When police told the owner they had caught the woman, she realized the suspect was a former client.

"I suddenly felt sorry for her and I just had this empathy that her life is in a bad spot. It’s unfortunate that I was the victim. I would just like to see her get some help," said Rage Salon owner Kayley Kampfer.

Kampfer estimates the damage at about $5,000. Rage Salon will be open on Friday.
