JOSEPH'S FORECAST

The winds shifted to the northeast across the northern part of the state this afternoon. This brought the smoke back into the southern Willamette Valley and warmed those areas up a bit. We did have some frost this morning and I expect more frost tomorrow morning. The areas that are protected from the wind will be the coldest.

Clear skies will continue through the weekend but our winds will become more easterly over the weekend and this will warm us up both in the mornings and afternoons. The sunny dry weather will continue through the middle of next week.

Thursday:  Sunny with local frost early, 64 / 70 coast, 70 / 75 inland.

Friday:  Sunny with patchy frost early, 65 / 70 coast, 72 / 77 inland.

Saturday:  Sunny, 65 / 70 coast, 73 / 77 inland.
