I don't think you can one size fits all judge the state of a persons mental health to determine if they qualify for gun ownership by just asking all doctors to be that judge , because this sets up a scenario of political influence over the doctors that already are going to experience income disparity from Cuts from Obamacare that could be used to influence with a financial benefit if the doctors are given a extra Bonus for the amount of people that are found to be unqualified to own a gun not just because they are showing signs of mental illness . Sorry, but he can't pick and choose which laws he enforces, and it isn't up to sheriff's to play "judge" and decide which laws are constitutional or not.
