Documents released in murder case

Eugene, Ore. (KMTR) – New details are emerging in the murder case of a young man, killed in August.

Celestino “Tino” Gutierrez was reported missing by his family on August 3rd. Days later, police arrested three people – 22 year old AJ Nelson, 18 year old Mercedes Crabtree and David Taylor.

Newly released court documents reveal Nelson admitted to detectives that he helped Crabtree and Taylor kill Gutierrez.

Investigators said on August 9th, Taylor took them to the site where he and Nelson buried the body.

Documents also show Crabtree was the one who invited Gutierrez to Taylor’s home, on Jensen Drive, From the Brew n’ Cue on Highway 99. Police and forensics teams spent weeks searching the Jessen Drive home.

Crabtree, Nelson and Taylor were also linked to bank robberies in Creswell and Mapleton.

David Taylor is the Portland "Take Over Bandit" and will emerge as one of the Pacific Northwest's most prolific criminals/murder masterminds before this is all over. You are only touching the tip of the iceberg.
