Cottage Grove (KMTR) - The Cottage Grove Police Department is trying to return dozens of pieces of stolen jewelry and other items to their owners in Lane County.
Police say they arrested James Harrell, 48, late last month for reckless driving. They then recovered more than 100 pieces of jewelry and collectibles—including including rings, necklaces, buttons—and other small property. Pictures of some of the property have been released by the police department.
There will be a public viewing of the items on Thursday, November 19th, from 1:00 to 4:00p.m. at the police station.
Anyone who has been a victim of theft or burglaries in the last six months is invited to attend.
A police report documenting the theft is needed to claim an item.
