Basic Three-Egg Omelet

&

Ingredients for a filled Omelet 

Ingredients: 

  1. Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
  2. 3 eggs, shelled and mixed up in a bowl
  3. 1 cup of shredded blend cheese
  4. Seasoning salt mix to taste – pinch 

Method: 

  1. Add the oil in a small flat sauce pan or omelet pan
  2. Heat the oil in the pan until it starts to smoke
  3. Add the whipped eggs and lightly stir in the sauce pan
  4. Sprinkle some seasoning salt.
  5. Lift up the side of the egg to create the top liquid to run underneath the omelet
  6. Flip the omelet in the pan.
  7. Add ½ of the cheese in the middle of the omelet in the pan.
  8. Place the Omelet on the plate by, slowly tipping the pan on its side so the omelet rolls out of the pan.  Add the other ½ of the cheese on top of the finished plated omelet. 

Filled Omelet. 

  1. Add the oil to the pan and heat the oil.
  2. Add any leftover pieces of ham, bacon, and diced vegetables to the hot pan.
  3. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until the meats and vegetables are heated through.
  4. Add the three whipped eggs to the saucepan, stir it around and make it flat.
  5. Lift the side of the omelet to make the top liquid goes underneath the omelet.
  6. Flip the Omelet in the pan.
  7. Add ½ the shredded cheese on top of the omelet.
  8. Repeat the same procedure to place the omelet on to the plate.
