Joe Leadingham joined NewsSource 16 in November of 2010 as Sports Director.
Joe brings more than 3 years of experience with him from Cheyenne, Wyoming where he was Sports Director at KGWN-TV. He was twice recognized by the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters for Best Sports Anchor in the state.
His experience in Cowboy country gave him a great base for broadcasting and the chance to make some lifelong friends in middle America.
Joe graduated from Washington State University with a B.A. in Broadcast News from the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication.
A native of Ridgefield, Washington he has spent many days in the great state of Oregon living about 15 minutes from the Columbia River.
Joe got his start in Broadcasting early doing PA for his high school basketball games. He is very excited to be back home in the Northwest and covering two Pac-10 schools in the Ducks and Beavers.
