If this was at the intersection of Hwy 36 and Dorsey/Alvadore road, this intersection sucks. My wife was in an accident at this intersection that could have been very serious, and I've seen multiple accidents here. Something should be done!!!

Although the dog park and the 18th street pocket park were done on the same day, they were part of a separate program that has been going on along the south coast for 5 years called "Make a Difference Day" organized by the LDS Church.

Philly local news and weather included how many ospreys went down that day. You state it lands like a helicopter -- there's not a ton of evidence for that. During one of the toothless "perhaps we should pull the plug on this" beltway episodes, Bellisario's "JAG" produced a 42 minute commercial/episode in support of the "air"craft. It is imperative that we support the U.S. Military's efforts to keep the osprey over someone else's airspace. The Okinawans will stop complaining the minute they see one of these magnificent displays of U.S. technology land. On them. Several pieces at a time.

how about they only give tax breaks to companies whose products and materials are 75% or more made in oregon with oregon workers? oh yeah that would be to smart and to patriotic to do that and would use common sense nothing like that could ever happen with our law makers and political system in this state and country

A police officer could enforce the ban only if the driver had been pulled over for a separate traffic violation. A maximum fine for the first offense would be $250. NOW THE QUESTION WILL BE,,HAVE YOU BEEN SMOKING? I SMELL CIGARETTES..HA! New test...Tobbacco...Blow or not? It is wrong We don't nee No more policing ..What is next removing the kids to DHS? And how did they come up with the $250 fine? Where's THAT money going.....They all need to back off... Common sense..BS law...Do we get to vote on it?

@justmy2: My sentiments exactly. This country was indeed founded and populated, at least in part, by people fed up with nanny government bullies meddling in every part of their private lives. That kind of big brother governing is alive and well today in the US from the feds at the top with spying and snooping on innocent citizens all the way down the bottom where city managers tell regular people everything from what kind of bag they must put their groceries in to even the language people can and can't use. All the while, these self-righteous, politically correct, politicians enjoy the good life at every taxpayer's expense. Sounds to me like this country needs another revolution.

Non smoker here and even if I was, I would never smoke in an enclosed environment with kids or non smoking adults around. With that said, was our country not founded to rid itself of an oppressive government? How long will good people stand idly by and allow one freedom after another to be made illegal because some politician knows what's best for you? You cant legislate common sense, no mater how hard our politicians try.
