I think that releasing violent offenders is unthinkable, especially ones that keep repeating their crimes. If the state would execute the ones that need to be, it would definately cut costs, rather then to keep them alive and have the public keep paying for them to live! Has the state thought about how much it's going to cost in court cases when citizens start to protect themselves and their property on their own? It seems that they're looking for an easy fix, when in reality this isn't the way to do it!!

You would think that they would have some sort of camera system there. Especially since this is the second time this happened

Omg! here we go again! #1 I drive a lot...invariably, when I see erratic driving, they are on their damned cell...and it is becomming more and more common. I was backed into at a Walmart parking lot by a woman on her hand held cell even though I honked and honked with no where to go. #2 bluetooth works great for hearing impaired because its IN YOUR EAR! I am hearing impaired and my experience says you must be completly deaf if you cannot hear a bluetooth device! #3 Sorry Fawn, but the article clearly stated that cops and those who use their vehicle as their office would be exempted.#4 if a conversation on a hands-free device is so distracting then so is conversation with your passengers, so I guess any driver who is talking at all should be subject to the $90.00 fine...not. I do believe texting is about as stupid as putting on make-up or reading the newspaper while driving...I support this new law, but it is going to be damned hard to enforce...Dave

mr.buzzed...I don't like to call people names, though I can think of a few for you...your post in my opinion sends mixed signals. as an advocate for m.m. the picture you painted disgusted me. It is not about money!!! It is about an alternative to pharmacuticles and those it works for. To brag about the ton of money you have made selling weed is counter productive to the whole m.m. program. I am medical, grow my own, and will gladly share my herb with those in pain, FREE...not to kids who are looking for a kick...I catch my kid using it, they'll get a kick for sure...right in their @ss...Dave
