Powdered alcohol isn't even available yet to buy, and Oregon is looking to ban it.

Palcohol, an Arizona based company, got FDA approval earlier this month.

A handful of states have already banned its sale, and that number may double as states across the country consider similar measures.

Oregon's only Amtrak route from Eugene to Portland is in jeopardy of shutting down.

The Oregon Department of Transportation needs $10.4 million to maintain operations. The state's current budget cuts that in half.

Thousands of California sea lions have docked at northern Oregon ports like Astoria.

While the sea lions have brought in a sea of tourists, port officials are worried about dock damage and missing out on boat revenue.

And it's the adult salmon the sea lions are feasting on that has local fisherman worried.
